Victoria Sedgwick

December 28, 1913 - November 15, 2005

Mrs. Victoria (Tabor) Sedgwick, 91, of 17 Pleasant St. Adams, died Tuesday afternoon at Williamstown Commons. She was born in Savoy on December 28, 1913, daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Zimna) Tabor. She attended Savoy schools. Mrs. Sedgwick last worked as an inspector at the former Jarisch Paper Box Co. in North Adams for 14 years, retiring in 1978. Earlier, she had worked at General Electric Co. in Pittsfield, and at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. and Signet Associates in Adams. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, and a member of its Rosary Sodality and the Polish Women's Alliance. Her husband, Norman D. Sedgwick, whom she married on August 28, 1937, died on July 13, 1966. She is survived by 2 Daughters - Darlene Truskowski and Beverly Krutiak, both of Savoy; 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Tabor, and 2 sisters - Veronica Antone and Walterina Pytko. The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 19th, at 11:30 AM from the AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor of the Catholic Parishes of Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 at the funeral home.
