Mary V. Milos

Mrs. Mary Victoria (Bulsa) Zieba Milos, 100, of 34 � North Summer St. Adams, died Wednesday morning at Williamstown Commons. She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on November 11, 1905, a daughter of the late Peter and Katherine (Gancarz) Bulsa, and came to Savoy as a child with her family, moving to Adams as a young girl. She attended Savoy schools. Mrs. Milos last worked at Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 20 years, until retiring in 1970. Earlier, she had worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. in Adams for many years, and , still earlier, had done domestic work for the late Drs. Shea and Gangemi. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She was a member of the Polish Women's Club and the Adams Senior Citizens. Her first husband, Walter Zieba, died in 1949. Her second husband, Matthew "Jake" Milos, whom she married in 1954, died on May 30, 1993. She is survived by; 7 Grandchildren - Jane Farnham, and Katherine Flanagan, of North Adams; Cheryl LaDouceur of Williamstown, Gordon Zieba and Richard Zieba, both of the State of Florida; Catherine Ball of California, and Christine Keswick, of South Dakota. 11 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She also leaves her primary caregivers - Frances Bulsa, Janice Zieba, Jane Farnham, Katherine Flanagan, Valerie Piantoni, Ashley Flanagan, and Betty Meyer. A son, Frederick W. Zieba died December 25, 1991. She was also predeceased by 2 brothers; Andrew Bulsa, and Felix Bulsa; and by 4 sisters; Caroline Wolkowicz, Sophie Fuller, Wanda Mougin, and Victoria Baran. The funeral will be held on Saturday December 31st, at 9:00AM from the AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St, Adams, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The family requests the omission of flowers, and suggest that memorial donations be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, The Adams Ambulance Service, or the Adams Police Telephone Reassurance Program, through the funeral home.
