Rose Aubin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Rose A. (Robinson) Aubin, 87, formerly of 4 Columbia St. Adams, died Sunday afternoon, January 2, 2005, at North Adams Regional Hospital. She was born in Adams on February 20, 1917, a daughter of the late Leo and Jennie (Lemieux) Robinson, and attended Adams schools. Mrs. Aubin worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. in Adams for many years, retiring when the mill closed in 1958. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame & St. Thomas Aquinas, Adams. Her husband, Nelson A. Aubin, whom she married on January 1, 1936, died on September 29, 1969. She is survived by 1 Son - Nelson L. Aubin of Cheshire, MA; 1 daughter - Rosemarie Drawec of Savoy, MA; 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Leo Robinson, and a sister, Alice Healey. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 5, at 9:00 AM from the Auge`-Paciorek-Simmons Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor of the Parishes of Notre Dame & St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Stanislaus Kostka, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Sweet Brook Care Center Patient Activities Fund through the funeral home.
